During the first UK lock down earlier this year, as something of a personal morale boosting exercise, I compiled an optimistic timeline of the next decade of technological progress and its benefits, and shared it through my social media channels. I thought of it as being a best case scenario.
Today I learned that one of my predictions - artificial meat - is going on sale for the first time. On top of the multiple coronavirus vaccines, perhaps the near future could look like this after all.
