This month, we’ve learned a few things about the coming flights this year - Falcon 9 has a rough estimate of its total lifetime launches, Blue Origin has set a launch date for its next New Glenn flight, and also changed the payload.

First off, lets start with SpaceX.

The Falcon Lifecycle

On January 17th, SpaceX celebrated its 600th Falcon 9 mission. The following day, Elon Musk posted the following:

“Will probably exceed” is a vague statement, but we can probably take 1000 flights as a central estimate, as the statement implies it might not exceed that. This gives us a means to estimate when the Falcon program may be wound down.
