Thank you for this. I do not understand how so many people can go through their lives without thinking at all about a long-term civilization plan for space. Even if it is only 1% of their mental effort, how can someone look out at the vastness of the universe and NOT think about this kind of thing?
Thank you also for posting Rand's Apollo and Dionysis lecture. I had read her piece on Apollo 11, but I had never heard of this lecture before, and it filled in a lot of gaps.
