Blowing up individual satellites, especially in low Earth orbit, won’t create a cascade effect. Atmospheric drag clears the debris fast enough. It’s not ideal obviously - I’m advocating for having the capability and willingness to do it, not that we should do it if we aren’t forced to by an adversary.
